A cluster of eco-lodges nestling in woodland by the shores of a lake adjoining a countryside spa retreat in Sussex.
The project comprises a series of sustainably sited and constructed timber cabins raised on stilts in forest-wetland. The traditional form has been reinvented to permit a luxurious open plan living space with extensive views of the surrounding forest and lake. Connections have been made with the surrounding landscape to enhance a ‘back to nature’ experience that inspires, uplifts and rejuvenates.
